About Beth

I am a Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor and Yoga Therapist specializing in treating anxiety disorders and perinatal mental health disorders. I have a special interest in treating social anxiety, generalized anxiety, pregnancy and postpartum anxiety using a CBT and mindfulness based approach. I enjoy helping adult women manage anxiety and depression as well as develop a healthy relationship with food and their bodies.

I have over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health. In the past, I have done behavioral therapy with children; in-home therapy with families; I have worked in a residential setting with children and adolescents as a therapist and Clinical Director and have worked at an outpatient center for eating disorders.  I have led yoga therapy groups at Atlanta Center for Eating Disorders, Ridgeview Institute's Women's Unit and Foundations Recovery Network. I worked in private practice at Midtown Psychotherapy Associates specializing in anxiety disorders for 7 years providing individual psychotherapy and yoga therapy groups for women. In 2019, I began Intown Atlanta Psychotherapy and Yoga located in Grant Park. After taking a year off of counseling to be at home with my newborn twins in 2021, I am returning to part-time online therapy.

A little about me personally...I live in downtown Atlanta with my husband, our one year old twins and and our rescue hound. I enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening, being with friends and family, reading, being creative, cooking and practicing yoga. I have personal experience with infertility, pregnancy losses, NICU parenting and parenting multiples.
